“Goodnight, Will. I love you.”
“I love you. Mommy? Will you ask Daddy to come in and cuddle with me?”
“Daddy’s working. How ’bout I cuddle with you?”
“No. I need Daddy. You can go work.”
“Why do you need Daddy?”
” ‘cuz Daddy’s a boy and we’re faster than girls.”

Hilarious! I love his need for efficiency in cuddling.
(But I feel your pain as his mother. Does he not realize you carried him for nine months?!)

Honestly, I’m longing for the day when the little guy decides that Daddy is a cool dude to hang with and is then able to let go of Mommy a tad. Preschool stereotypes are a tad infuriating, though, so I don’t know how well I’d accept his reasons for wanting to be with the guys more…Funny and “uhh” at the same time.
